HyrelTech is proud to feature James Covert as Liberty High School’s Student Intern of the Week. James is a senior in the Engineering program and is completing his Work-Based Learning (WBL) experience at Hyrel Technologies, a long-time supporter of high school internships.

HyrelTech is known for providing hands-on learning opportunities not only for aspiring engineers, but also for students interested in accounting and information technology. During his internship, James showcased a custom-designed case that he created using professional engineering software and brought to life with a 3D printer—demonstrating both creativity and technical skill.

James plans to continue pursuing his passion for engineering by attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona, where he hopes to further explore the intersection of innovation and aerospace technology.

Internships like James’s serve as a capstone to Liberty High School’s CTE programs, helping students bridge the gap between high school and their future careers or postsecondary education. We’re excited to see where James’s journey takes him next.

Congratulations, James!
