Peoria, Arizona, USA – HyRel Technologies, a global provider of high quality, quick turn semiconductor modification solutions, has recognized James Covert, their recent graduate of Hyrel’s Internship Program and Student Engagement. James, a graduate of nearby Liberty High School, plans to go on to gain experience with field-relevant software and hardware and to explore his interest in additive manufacturing.

Brian Watson, Founder of HYREL, highlighted the dual focus of James on improving 3D printing skills and creating an ESD data logger app. He noted that HYREL will also soon begin their 10th internship class with three new students recruited from several local high schools in the area.

“Our program is something that separates us from probably 99.5% of everyone else, we are still the only semiconductor company in the Phoenix Valley with all the real semiconductor activity going on. We’re working directly with the high schools and giving kids hands-on experience.”
